This finale definitely wasn’t what I expected going into it, but as I watched it I was able to form some predictions, some of which turned out to be right. After last week’s episode, I predicted that something would happen to Paul (Ethan’s dad) on the way to Seattle Pres, and I’m really disappointed that they didn’t show more of Ethan’s side of the story. This episode broke my heart with just about every story line, Ethan and Owen being #1. Just when he gives into the paternal feelings he has for that boy and decides he’ll adopt him, his dad wakes up. Then he gives the classic Owen response, shutting himself down and pushing them away, just like he did with Cristina at first. I loved pretty much every part of this episode. One of my only complaints is Adam and Kristina’s matching black bathing suits in the end.
