This finale definitely wasn’t what I expected going into it, but as I watched it I was able to form some predictions, some of which turned out to be right. After last week’s episode, I predicted that something would happen to Paul (Ethan’s dad) on the way to Seattle Pres, and I’m really disappointed that they didn’t show more of Ethan’s side of the story. I wasn’t thinking they’d be transported via helicopter, which would make the chances of Ethan surviving an accident very slim, but since we didn’t hear anything more about them after their departure, I’m assuming they

This episode broke my heart with just about every story line, Ethan and Owen being #1. Just when he gives into the paternal feelings he has for that boy and decides he’ll adopt him, his dad wakes up. Then he gives the classic Owen response, shutting himself down and pushing them away, just like he did with Cristina at first. I predict that something will happen to Paul en route to Seattle Pres and Owen will not only return to his decision to adopt Ethan, he’ll have to deal with Cristina’s feelings about it too. I think it’ll affect the

I know I’m a total cheerleader for everything Shonda, but I think I’ve finally found the one thing I don’t like about this show. No, it’s not that everything bad that could possibly happen to the same group of people does happen, but what can you expect from a TV drama? Back to the point, what I don’t like is that this show makes such a mockery of something as sacred as marriage. There was George and Callie, Izzie and Alex, the Chief and Adele (twice, if you count Mer AND Jackson’s mothers), Owen and Cristina, and unless I missed

Shame on me for thinking this season would be boring and force Grey’s onto the bubble. While bringing in new cast members is risky, and it still freaks me out to hear Gaius Charles not talk like the Smash, he was hilarious in this episode. And when are Jo and Karev going to get together? In a place where nobody hesitates to jump one another’s bones, they sure are dragging this one out. Even sadder than Karev watching Jo gallop off with Chest Peckwell (what is Peckwell? I don’t get it…) is what remains unspoken between April and Jackson. Did

What is with this show and ruining awesome foods for me? As usual, another epic Grey’s episode, not just for the riskiness of sneaking a trauma patient into the hospital, but for the emotionality that Glee has been too chicken to pursue with a transgender story line. And as always, the episode title has a double meaning with the changes taking place with Brian (the transgendered patient with the upset father), the changes taking place with Pegasus or the crash crew buying the hospital, the changes taking place with Karev and his feelings for Jo and possibly becoming the main

I stumbled upon the article Three Reasons to Sort of Still Care About Vampires, and I thought something similar would make a nice feature for our site so I decided to add to the list. Let me give you a little background. I was not among the first wave of fans to go crazy over Twilight. I watched the first movie for the first time at a sleepover, because that’s totally how all bad habits start, right? Before you start asking me embarrassing questions about how old I am, I was twenty (yes, we still have sleepovers at that age,

I loved pretty much every part of this episode. One of my only complaints is Adam and Kristina’s matching black bathing suits in the end. At first they reminded me of Gomez and Morticia Addams, but then I realized I was actually remembering a scene from Sweeney Todd where Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter are all gothed out at the beach. That, and the ugly scarf Ryan wears in the final montage of happy people, though I can forgive it because he and Amber are looking at engagement rings! Provided the show gets renewed for a fifth season (fingers crossed), I

Ok, so I’m still gonna bake them because I said I would for this church thing, but this episode totally ruined my excitement over eating the extra goodies. Ew, that word sounds gross too. Anyways, this episode was awesome. It made me laugh and it made me cry and it made me wonder when the show will finally (don’t get me wrong, I’m not excited about it) get cancelled now that the hospital threatens to close. I double checked the latest predictions and it looks like the show won’t be going anywhere anytime soon, which is great for the interns

Newsflash: Nobody on this show is a quitter, and that’s not always a good thing. At least not for the Mark Haters like me. That man is like an annoying little gnat buzzing around Sarah and Hank and I just want to find a fly swatter. Of course, I’m Team Hank, but I thought he did the right thing letting Sarah know about the confrontation and giving her some space to make the decision on her own. Now that’s classy. Then there’s Julia and Kristina, never giving up on their kids. For once, Crosby was right when he told Julia

Let’s talk about the ‘Small Victories’ in this episode. First, there’s Kristina and Adam getting Max to shower. As much as I LOL’ed at Max’s conversation with Kristina, Zeek and Camille, this is serious stuff. Whether in person or watching another TV show, we’ve all seen the cliché case in which the parent brings up ‘the birds and the bees,’ and the adolescent mimes vomiting, covers his ears, etc. I found it interesting to watch Max handle it with such maturity, though like Adam said, ‘he doesn’t get embarrassed,’ but I don’t think he should be worrying so much over

Well, it finally happened…again. Marshall and Lily found themselves bringing baby Marvin with them to MacLaren’s because Mickey got sick and had to take the week off. Though they justify themselves by ordering food so that they can say they’re at a restaurant that happens to also serve drinks, they decide they need a substitute nanny. Ted has a lot of time on his hands since his work at GNB finished (shouldn’t that get it’s own episode?) and he’s waiting to meet with a head hunter next week, so he offers to babysit and they immediately agree. Across the table,

The episode begins with Marshall sitting in front of a panel of judges. We already know from the last episode that the trial he just finished would change the course of his career, and it looks as though he’s in trouble. He starts by flattering them, but when they’re not amused, he tells them about how his former bro Brad conned him into thinking he needed a job at his firm so that he could gather information to use against him when he represented Gruber Pharmaceuticals in court. Marshall’s environmental law firm is suing the Pharmaceutical company for polluting the
