This week opens with a shot of the Jolly Roger. Hook is mooning over a tattered drawing of his former lover, Milah, who also happens to be the former wife of Rumpelstiltskin, as well as formerly among the living, thanks to Rumple’s removal of her heart. Smee approaches the captain and questions him on his intentions for extra soggy Bae, just fished out of the drink. Hook reminds Smee that the boy could be an excellent bargaining chip for survival with a mysterious “him”. Setting up next season’s big bad so soon? Hook goes below and channels the spirit of

This episode broke my heart with just about every story line, Ethan and Owen being #1. Just when he gives into the paternal feelings he has for that boy and decides he’ll adopt him, his dad wakes up. Then he gives the classic Owen response, shutting himself down and pushing them away, just like he did with Cristina at first. I predict that something will happen to Paul en route to Seattle Pres and Owen will not only return to his decision to adopt Ethan, he’ll have to deal with Cristina’s feelings about it too. I think it’ll affect the

Ok, so I jumped the gun last time thinking we were in for an “April’s Fool Day” graduation episode….I apologize. Before the season 4 finale we were supposed to watch an episode called “The Walking Dead” because well, there were loads of dead people walking around, although its kind of hilarious and weird at the same time given that 99% of the population in Mystic Falls  are dead supernatural creatures….walking around so yeah…..come on, which other way could this episode be titled in this season of ‘creativity’. Anyway, lets quickly dissect what happened before we get to the finale predictions.   They’re baaaaaack! May

“Parks and Rehabilitation” had a hard job: it was an episode devoted to trying to lighten up the series, while still making sure the audience remembers the emotional burdens of the characters. It reinforces this by starting off with the Warehouse crew with the Regents, pleading Artie’s case. I’m so thankful that this bit is in the episode, as it proves that, for once, the Regents are actually doing their job. The Regents have let a disturbing amount of people go without assessing their mental state: H.G. Wells (who admittedly did get better, but only thanks to Myka), Walter Sykes,

As we near the end of The Mindy Project’s first season, the show seems to want to get bigger and better, and haul back as many guest stars as they possibly can. This is great for the audience, especially when the guest stars are all fantastic comedic actors such as: Bill Hader, Mark DuPlass and Anders Holm, all playing Mindy’s ex-boyfriend, ex-boyfriend/work competition, and ex-boyfriend for half the episode/current boyfriend for the other half. I think that Mindy Kaling is eventually going to use every funnyman in the business to play her love interests, and I can’t wait to see

This week on a Stevie Wonder themed Glee we have the return of Mercedes, Mike and Kurt. We also find out about Burt’s results and Cassandra reveals her true colours. Amongst all this going on there are still loose ends that need tightening. Let’s start with Kitty and Artie. With only one episode left we keep getting these constant flirty moments: are they actually going to go anywhere and will they finally get together or do something of the sort. Kitty helped Artie accept his offer to Brooklyn Film School by being a sneak of the week and telling his

We open to find young Bae, six months after he went through the portal that fateful night Rumple broke their deal. Bae is in his finest Newsies attire, and it seems the life of a ragamuffin street urchin of London has not agreed with him. Starving, he creeps into a mansion and descends on some freshly baked loaves of bread. Strains of “Food, Glorious Food” can be heard in the distance. Bae is soon interrupted from his feast, not by Javert, but a very disgruntled St. Bernard. Luckily the dog’s owner appears and kindly offers to share the loaves with

I know I’m a total cheerleader for everything Shonda, but I think I’ve finally found the one thing I don’t like about this show. No, it’s not that everything bad that could possibly happen to the same group of people does happen, but what can you expect from a TV drama? Back to the point, what I don’t like is that this show makes such a mockery of something as sacred as marriage. There was George and Callie, Izzie and Alex, the Chief and Adele (twice, if you count Mer AND Jackson’s mothers), Owen and Cristina, and unless I missed

Ok, I was wrong when putting in the cons list last time the thing about torture. Actually, when you come to think, of it torture is something that this show does best – it is like the writers favorite creative subject to explore…. be it Caroline, Tyler, Stefan, Damon, Caroline and well, Caroline again. We all have to confess that it was intriguing to find out what would exactly trigger Elena’s humanity back and those more involved in show probably went further and wanted to know what would this mean for Elena once she is back to being dull and

This week in Glee we are welcomed back to New York to follow the lives of Rachel, Kurt and Santana. As well as being introduced to Sue’s new career and still no luck in unmasking Ryder’s dream girl. The episode starts off with Ryder messaging little miss Catfish and he asks her why she’s afraid to meet up; in which she replied, “idk”. Gotta love their deep emotional conversations that makes Ryder want her so bad! Personally, I think they’re dragging this out way too long and it’s stopping Ryder getting closer to anybody else cough kitty cough! (We’ll get

We open as a bag is removed from our favorite klutzy pirate’s head. Hook stirs, tied up one again, while being glowered over by Tamara and Greg in the clock tower of Storybrooke’s library. I believe he is solely responsible for the income of the entire rope-making industry in Storybrooke at this point. The duo threaten Hook, trying to bully him into helping find Regina, but let’s be honest, Menacing!Greg and Plotting!Tamara are about as threatening as Boris and Natasha. Hook has no motivation to help them anyway, as he believes he has succeeded in killing his crocodile. Cue Tamara

Ok, where to even begin? Um, so the best part of this episode was everything until the 22nd minute and 35 seconds. I even wanted to title my review “MARCEL RULES!” – and then witch number 2 uttered the words: “I have a special gift”….and I was like oh this has to be good….and she continued “of sensing”….drum roll please…”when a girl is pregnant”. Record scratch. Balloon pop. Little girl screaming… NO WAY! I went through all the stages of shock in like 5 minutes and then I wanted to applaud and yell at the writers all at once. So
