Unlike The New Normal, I really want to like this show, mostly because I’ve loved Nat Faxon since Orange County (“I’m Kip…”), and have waited so patiently for him to become more than a serial guest star or supporting character. He’s my Steve Carrell, in that his looks aren’t particularly swoonworthy but he wins your heart when you’re somewhere between sitting on the couch and rolling on the floor laughing.
